Cut 38 Steakhouse

My husband and I went on 12/28/23 around 7:20pm, the restaurant was not full, had empty tables but we were completely ignored by the staff at the door and then we were approached by the manager that referred to my husband as my guy we have a :50 minutes away and we are understaff, give us sometime. Didn’t bother to take down our phone number to call us when a table became available. The environment and the smell of the food were top 10, but the management is horrible honesty, we felt rejected and the manager was definitely racist.

Very nice atmosphere, busy Miami night but was seated pretty quick, our waiter was awesome, very amicable, funny guy. Definitely told us what was his favorite things out the menu so took his word for it and tried the pork and I have to say delicious and that mashed potato was to die for. Had a couple drinks to full for dessert but I’ll save for the next time I am in Sunny isle. Overall experience was delightful. Thank you cut38 for making this out of towner feel welcome…

The food was awful. Everything was so greasy, and flavorless. The service was the worst part though. Servers AND management were standing around ignoring guests. I tried to get anyone to bring my check and multiple people including the rude manager looked directly at me and turned heads and walked away still engaged in socializing with coworkers. This place seemed like a want to be Hillstone Group restaurant but with awful service, food and dirty. I thanked the manager when he brought my card to me and he literally grunted at me then walked away. I was shocked and disgusted. When I walked out, I told people to not go in because it was such a bad experience. They took my advice and turned around. I would not recommend this place to anyone. McDonald's trains their associates better than this place and they don't even make tips. The management needs training. I hope corporate office will provide management with some, so they can train their servers and clean the place up. Do not waste your money going here.

Stopped in for lunch... Decided to have the Pan Seared Saku Tuna Salad... Service was great, and the atmosphere was pleasant. I was very impressed with how my Tuna was prepared because the server never asked how I would like it served. So if how it was served was the norm of preparation... what a magnificent job. Hats off to the chef. I will be returning..
